Easter Egg Wreath and Photo Frame

April 7, 2014 By 1 Comment

Easter Egg Wreath and Photo Frame with Free printable Clever Classroom
I love Easter time and whilst it means many things to many people, this year I will not be having any Easter eggs! Can you tell I have been thinking about chocolate a lot? Only someone who is chocolate deprived would open up a blog post in this way! I have quit sugar and have been extremely strict so this is going to extend to Easter eggs this year! I love chocolate and Easter eggs, so this is going to be tough!
So instead of eating eggs, I am going to blog about them!
Eggs represent new life and the circle of life.
If you are teaching your students about Spring, Easter (religious or non religious) or life cycles, you might like our craft activity. First of all, you might like to introduce the topic of eggs with this amazing real life hatching of a chick. This will be a great platform to discuss new life.

Here are some factual books about eggs and also Easter.

Now for the craft!

You can choose from the two I have sampled below. The photo frame is just a few extra steps in addition to the wreath.

Once you have made the wreath, there are few extra steps involved.
You can simply print out images of students and paste them behind the paper plate wreath.
Or you can print out a photo inside a circle, so that it fits perfectly inside the circle. I have outlined the steps for this in the free file, click here.
