If you’re familiar with my blog and resources then you know I love bottle caps and craft!
So putting the two together was so exciting to me! Sad, yes but true!
‘Bottle Cap Turkey Prints’ were born!
If you’re looking for a simple craft activity for November, then this one is perfect. I would think that most educator and parents would have these resources on hand. If you don’t, you can pick them up in your local dollar store or supermarket.
Here’s how it works.
You will need:
Yellow, brown or orange paint
Large or small bottle cap (depending on how big you want to make the turkey)
Damp sponge to place paint on
An orange pencil
Googly eyes
Red ribbon pieces for the wattle (under beak)
Two buttons for feet
Colored feathers for feathers!
Glue
Paper
How to:
Press bottle tops onto damp sponge with either yellow, brown or orange paint.
Glue two googly eyes on.
Arrange and glue feathers.
Place two buttons on for feet. Draw a beak on.
Paste a small piece of ribbon for the turkey’s wattle under his beak.
All done!
