Making sight words fun and hands-on can be a challenge. Thinking of ideas that will challenge students is something that is always on my mind.
Children learn by having fun, so I have tried to make this bundle loads of fun, with a unique way to work on both fluency and word work.
Children will be actively engaged and not even know they are learning!
Be sure to grab the FREE files in the first and second grade edition preview files on the last pages.
I have bundled up all the files so that you have them all in one place, plus save a few dollars. By downloading the BUNDLE, you save 25% which means you get one whole file for FREE!
In this file, students are given flash cards to practice sight words, then they move on to their printables. Students will firstly have opportunities to work on their sight word fluency and then work with the words.
These prinatbles also come in black and white.
Each level (Pre-Primer, Primer, First and Second Grade Dolch words) has these pages.
Each level has a cover and checklist page.
Grab these pages for for free.
Here are a few more ideas that might help you implement a hands-on approach to learning sight words.
