A Handmade Gift to put on the Christmas Tree

November 28, 2013 By Leave a Comment

A Handmade Gift to put on the Christmas Tree Clever Classroom
I love craft and Christmas so I just couldn’t help but share this with you!
This easy to make Christmas ornament would be a great student to parent gift these holidays. It would also be a great keepsake from year to year.
I used pie tins which can be purchased at the local supermarket in various sizes.
You can request that students bring in an image from home that you copy, or you could take photos of your students then insert them into a word doc and print out. You will need to make the images small enough to fit in the pie tin.

You will need:

pie tins
images
hole punch
string/elastic or ribbon
gluestick to paste the paper image to the pie tin
Elmers glue and brush
small collage items
What to do:
1. Stick the printed image in the bottom of the tin.

2. Hole punch near the top and tie ribbon or string for hanging.

3. Decorate.
I hope your students enjoy making these, they really were a lot of fun!
